It is one of the most talked about races of the 2020 election: Who will fill North Carolina's vacant 11th District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives?
Republican candidate Madison Cawthorn and his Democratic challenger, Moe Davis, have agreed to a one-hour debate at the WLOS studio on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
The debate is sponsored by WLOS and its media partners at Carolina Public Press. The moderators will include WLOS news anchor Holly Headrick and Carolina Public Press managing editor Frank Taylor.
The 11th District seat was previously held by Republican Mark Meadows who resigned from office to become President Donald Trump's White House Chief of Staff.
