Carolin Kitchen: Seafood boil

Ingredients:

  • 1 potato, large diced
  • 1 corn cob, halved
  • 1/2 lb. andouille sausage, 3 in. slice
  • 4 colossal shrimp, raw whole
  • 1/2 lb. crawfish, raw whole
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced, garnish

Old Bay Broth:

  • 12 cups water
  • 1 lemon, wedged
  • 4 tbsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 oz white wine

Procedure:

Take broth ingredients and simmer in a pot for 1 hour. Add potatoes, corn, sausage, shrimp, crawfish, and lemon wedges. Continue to simmer until all ingredients are fully cooked. Remove from boil broth and toss in melted butter and old bay seasoning. Garnish with lemon slices.
