Carolina Kitchen: Buffalo Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Brussels
  • 1 Cup All-Purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 Cups panko crumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Cooked bacon chopped
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Buffalo sauce

Instruction

  1. Steam Brussels for 6-8 minutes. Once done add ice to shock them
  2. Dip the Brussels in flour and then egg & then panko
  3. Add Brussels to hot oil. Dredge fried Brussels on paper towel
  4. Serve Brussels w/ bacon crumbles and red pepper flakes & buffalo sauce
