  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 T sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 T vegetable oil or bacon grease
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup red pepper, seeded and thin sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 T garlic, finely minced
  • 8 oz. spaghetti, cooked per directions

  • In a medium measuring cup, whisk together the first seven ingredients. Set aside.
  • In a wok over medium-high heat (350º-375º), add the bacon grease and the sesame oil, browning the beef strips, about three minutes.
  • To the beef, add the red pepper strips, broccoli florets and garlic, stir-frying until peppers are tender, about two minutes.
  • Carefully pour in the mixture in the measuring cup and add the pasta, lightly tossing until all is coated.
  • Heat for an additional minute before serving with crusty bread.
