Carolina Kitchen: Homemade Boursin cheese

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 1C Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1C Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 C Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2T fresh garlic, pressed
  • 1/2 T dry dill
  • 1T dried basil
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Equipment

  • Electric mixer
  • Scraper/spatula

Instructions

  • In an electric mixer bowl, place all ingredients and mix with paddle attachment on medium low until smooth and creamy.
  • Cover and refrigerate to store.
  • Serve on a sandwich, or molded with crackers.
