Carolina Kitchen: Sausage balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Pork sausage (uncooked)
  • 3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • A few tablespoons of cold water (just enough water to moisten)
  • Black pepper to taste.

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Shape into round balls. Place on cookie sheet.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. Makes about 2 dozen
