- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips (Baker uses mini chips)
- In small bowl combine the oil and cocoa until smooth: set aside. in a large bowl beat eggs and sugar, stir in vanilla and cocoa mixture. Combine flour and salt, gradually add to chocolate mixture just until moistened. stir in walnuts.
- Pour into a greased 8 in. baking pan, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean (do not over bake). Cool on a wire rack.
