Salisbury Steak

Carolina Kitchen: Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • .5 cup bread crumbs
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 T ketchup
  • 1 T Worcestershire
  • .5 cup au jus
  • Butter
  • Mushroom
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Parsley
  • Heavy cream

Instructions

  1. mix ground beef with bread crumbs, salt & pepper
  2. Form patties, and cook in butter
  3. After about 5-7 minutes per side add mushroom, garlic & onion
  4. Deglaze with au jus, add ketchup and Worcestershire
  5. Finish with heavy cream and parsley, bring to a boil and then serve all together when thickened
