Multiple agencies responded to a fire at the residence of Buncombe County Sheriff Quentin Miller in Arden Tuesday afternoon.

RESIGNATIONS TAKE TOLL ON ASHEVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT

According to the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Miller's home on Woodfield Road suffered "significant damages due to a structural fire."

Officials report no family members or pets were injured in the fire.

"We ask the media to please respect the privacy of Sheriff Miller and his family at this time," Tuesday's release stated.

No other details surrounding the fire have been released at this time.
