Greenville Co. deputies: Man is missing since getting into car with robbery suspects


Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in finding a man who was taken during the course of a robbery.

Carlton Emanuel Staggs was last on February 5, 2017, at Serenity Apartments at 4307 Edwards Road in Taylors.

Deputies initially responded to the apartments at approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday, after receiving a call regarding a robbery.

An investigation ensued and deputies learned Staggs was approached by two black male subjects shortly before at least one gunshot was heard. Staggs was then seen getting into a black sedan along with the suspects.

Staggs is a 26-year-old black man and is 5’11” and 155 pounds. He has numerous tattoos including two facial tattoos; one of a crown and a cross.
