To the delight of students, Hendersonville Elementary School's principal got slimed on Friday.
It was part of a special award for students who exceeded the goal of their Cubcat CRAWL fundraiser, raising more than $28,000.
Principal Kerry Stewart said she doesn't mind being slimed for a good cause.
"As you can tell, it's not that bad. It tastes a little funny, but overall it was fun," Stewart said. "You have to have fun with your kids."
This is Stewart's fifth year as the school's principal.
