Two Buncombe County private schools have earned berths in the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association football playoffs.

Christ School (9-1) is the third seed in Division I and will play at No. 2 seed Fayetteville Trinity Christian (9-0) on Friday night.

The Greenies have won eight straight, including a 48-0 rout of Asheville School on Saturday.

Both teams have been dominant this season - Christ School has outscored its opponents 424-165, while Trinity Christian has a 366-68 edge in points scored.
