The Asheville Tourists completed a three-game sweep of Greensboro Friday night at McCormick Field in the same manner as their two previous wins over the Grasshoppers.
The Tourists (13-19) banged out 13 hits in a 10-5 win, upping their runs scored to 33 in the three-game set.
A pair of left-handed sluggers led the way – Bret Boswell had a double and home run and finished with three RBIS, while Chad Spanberger was 4-for-4 with two RBIs.
Asheville starter Antonio Santos had eight strikeouts in five innings but allowed six hits and four runs.
But the Tourists got four solid innings of relief from three relievers and the offense continued its recent good play, scoring five runs in the sixth and two more in the seventh to come back from a 4-2 deficit.
After starting the season 3-13, the Tourists have won 10 of their last 16 games.
Kannapolis begins a four-game series at McCormick Field with a 6:05 p.m. start on Saturday.
