After stumbling through a four-game losing streak last week, the Asheville Tourists returned to their slugging ways over the weekend to win two straight at Greensboro.

Asheville slammed six home runs in a 13-6 win over the Grasshoppers Sunday, with Bret Boswell and Casey Golden leading the way with two dingers apiece.

Sean Bouchard added a two-run blast and Todd Czinge hit a solo homer for Asheville (13-9), whose 15 hits included 10 for extra bases.

In a come-from behind win Saturday night that snapped the losing skid, Chad Spanberger provided the key blow, a go-ahead three-run homer that produced an 8-7 win vs. Greensboro.

Asheville concludes a seven-game road trip with single games in Greensboro Monday and Tuesday nights.

Following an off-day Wednesday, the Tourists will enjoy an eight-game homestand that begins with a Thirsty Thursday battle with rival Greenville. First pitch is 7:05 p.m.
