Asheville City Council on Tuesday approved its legislative agenda for local delegates.

The agenda outlines what city leadership wants local state lawmakers to push for in the North Carolina General Assembly. That includes a civilian police oversight board, a vote on a quarter-cent sales tax for transit and a loosening how the city can spend taxes earned from hotels and motels.
