COVID-19 cases continue to trend downward, but health care providers and leaders are still encouraging people to get tested for the virus.

On Thursday, March 4, Community Lab held a free drive-thru testing site in Arden.

About 30 people registered for the event.

Swabs were collected onsite and results are expected within 24 hours.

"We just want to make sure that we are doing our part," said A.J. Martin, with Community Lab. "We do have access to the technology here in the community and we have been able to help a lot. We have seen that it is going down but it’s good to actually know because we are testing. We can see those results firsthand so we are no longer guessing."

Testing is available Monday through Friday at Community Lab's headquarters in Arden, located at 2 Trident Drive.
