Students are saying "Thank you" by serving good food and fellowship.
Members of A.C. Reynolds High School's Student Council hosted a luncheon to say thank you to the cafeteria and custodial staff at their school.
The students did this to show their appreciation for all the staff's hard work during the pandemic.
"They do make our Rocket home safe, they keep our students fed as well as they keep the building clean," said Katie Klinker, student council advisor.
"It's an honor and a privilege," said Connie Clark, a child nutrition staff member that was honored. "It's what we do; it's what we do."
The students raised $849 altogether to buy the lunches, the to-go food for the staff's families and gifts for them as well.
"My favorite part is to see all of the smiles on the people's faces as they come through the line and to see all of us come together to give back to our community," said Reynolds student Grace Kerr.
