Two offenses that have been piling up yards and points square off in Week 4 of the Friday Night Rivals games televised locally by MY 40.

Robbinsville (2-0) travels to Christ School (2-1) in a clash of teams that have combined to average more than 40 points a game early in their non-conference schedules.

The Black Knights have been getting it done on the ground, rushing for 600 yards in wins over North Georgia (54-8) and Enka (54-13).

After running for 2,031 yards and 18 scores last season, junior tailback Rylee Anderson is on pace for another strong year, collecting 279 yards on the ground with five touchdowns in two games.

Christ School bounced back from a tough loss of a game and devastating loss of their top runner by beating Cannon School 34-6.

Tailback Sidney Gibbs, after rushing for more than 4,000 career yards with Owen High and the Greenies, is out for the season with a broken leg suffered during a Aug. 25 game against Episcopal, when Christ School let a 21-0 lead slip away in a 28-21 loss.

Anderson and Gibbs (2,029 yards) were WNC's only two 2,000-yard rushers last season.

Kaedin Robinson picked up the scoring slack last week in the win over Cannon School.

Robinson caught touchdown passes of 55, 15 and 8 yards from Navy Shuler and also scored on a 6-yard run.

Shuler, the son of former Swain County High and Tennessee football star Heath Shuler, has thrown for more than 600 yards and nine TDs in three games after missing most of last season with an arm injury.

The teams met last season and Christ School left Robbinsville with an impressive 34-7 win.

The MY 40 telecast begins at 7 p.m., with kickoff at 7:30.
